Can i sync up an iphone to my computer without resetting it?

-I'm trying to set up a used iphone to my girlfriends computer and she doesn't want to lose the apps and music that are already on it. is this possible?You have to transfer them to iTunes. Plug it up, wait til iTunes pops up, go to File in the upper left hand corner, then Transfer Purchases from iPhone. If you can, I would try to stop the syncing from your iPhone; i.e. "slide to cancel" (I didn't though, but better safe than sorry.) Anyway, this should work.
Create a new user account from the control panel

Reboot the computer and log on as the new user.

Use this new account to do the iPhone sync with.



It will actually backup all the music and apps that are on the phone utilizing the iTunes software.
