-I have to record this interview from the BBC iPlayer. I only have 2 days more to go. Can you tell me what is the best source to either download the entire show or record the specific bit off them. I dont want any background noises as it will be played at an international seminar. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
PS: I have a Mac OS XUnless you have an ERA license, or specific permission from the content holders - you cannot legally download it. - Not even for educational use or any other broadcast of a non-personal nature. Making it international just complicates the issues. Contact the Beeb and get permission if your seminar is a worthy cause.
from BBC website:
"8. How can educational establishments use BBC Online Services (including BBC iPlayer)?
Under the Business Terms of Use, educational establishments, along with other non-personal users, cannot generally use BBC Online Services except as permitted under the Additional Terms for such BBC Online Services.
However if they have taken out a licence with the Educational Recording Agency ("ERA") schools, colleges, universities and other educational establishments CAN record and access recordings of BBC Content for educational purposes under the terms of that ERA licence.
More information about ERA licensing and the benefits of the ERA Plus Licence can be found at the ERA website.
Educational Establishments can also obtain a copy of a recording of a previous broadcast from BBC Active for use under an ERA licence if it was unable to record the broadcast itself. More information about how to obtain such copies can be found at the BBC Active website."
FRAPS is no good, its a gameplay recorder, use the 30day trial of screen recorder Camtasia Studio, you will need to set the audio options to > speakers, record what you hear.

If you want the crack for it then mail me.
I have used a program called Audacity for like more than 4 years and I think it works perfectly fine for recording and playback and it allows you to reverse things and it's a recommend program by many including me.
If you have the Firefox web browser, I'd say go for the Download Helper addon. Otherwise, you can go for the full version of Fraps.
