What computer would you get?

-I need to buy a new computer soon. Would you buy a laptop or an Ipad?Laptop or iPad? Laptop. iPads do not replace the need for a primary computer, as they do not provide services like printing, or full keyboard and mouse support, or webcams, or external hard drives, etc, etc. I would recommend something current (hardware wise), that will satisfy all your needs. As for Mac or PC, it all depends on what type of user you are. I would recommend a PC for flexibility reasons.

http://pcgameshark.comIf you need an actual computer for it's full functions (email, internet, games, pictures, the works) then you definitely want to stay away from the iPad. It is a useful tool but should not be used as your primary computer.
Get a Macbook. Very low chance of getting viruses, and very easy to use. I've had mine for many years now and it works the same as when I took it out of the box. I will never buy any other type of computer. They all get viruses, and have software problems.
Laptop, it's faster and cheaper. Also if you have fat sausage fingers then good luck typing on the Ipad...
