-I got a used Mac OS X & everything works perfectly fine and im very happy with it but skype just wont work! So here's what happens: I click the skype emicon thing (shortcut) that's on my toolbar or whatever (sorry I don't know what This stuff is called, this is my first Mac, I used PCs before) and the little login thingy pops out. So I enter my user name, then my password & the sign in or log in or whatever. Then it loads........& loads......& just loads for like 20 min! & Just when you think its gonna keep loading forever a little thingy pops out that says something along the lines of "Error connecting with Skype" -______- so how can i fix dis? I was thinking if there's some way I can like get rid of the skype program completely & re download...? Like somehow "delete" the program & then I would go & redowload it? And how would I delete it..? sorry for the long question & thanks in advance!I recommend to delete and re-install it again.
So you just go to your Finder and type "Skype into the search bar. Then when you see the skype icon just move it to the trash and if there is a harddrive of Skype too which sometimes is then move it to the trash as well. empty the trash.
Go to www.skype.com and re-install Skype. Then everything should work!If you want to remove an app on a Mac you have to go into your Applications folder, two-touch+click on the Skype icon to bring up the menu, and select Move to Trash.

You will then have to re-install Skype.
